Namaste!!
Greetings from Nepal. The team and I arrived safely in Nepal after a long flight.
We are currently in Kathmandu set to move off to pokhara to finish off our training before heading to Baglung village.
We done some sight-seeing in Kathmandu. We went to the dream centre and my Goodness what a beautiful place. It's so relaxing and you can definitely get your thoughts together. I absolutely loved the beautiful scenery and just enjoyed each moment.
We then went to the monkey temple. I have never seen a monkey or even been up close and personal with one. A monkey even managed to chase me for my drink and I ended up dropping it due to the fear of the monkey jumping on me.
We then had to climb 365 steep stairs to get to the top of the temple. I will admit I was out of breath but thanks to the support of my team I made it.(guess it was a free gym session lol). I am learning to press on no matter how challenging it may be. It would have been so easy for me to give up, and stay at the bottom and wait for everyone else but I'm happy I didn't give up. As I reflect, I can't help but think about what the next few weeks/months are going to be like. I know this journey won't be easy but with perseverance I know I will make it to the end. It won't be easy but it surely will be worth it.
There's still so much to see and explore about Nepal and I will do my best to keep you updated. I am thankful and grateful for this wonderful opportunity and I intend on making the most of it.
